The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), an autonomous
institution under Department of School Education and Literacy,
Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India imparts education through Open and
Distance Learning mode at the pre-degree level. The NIOS conducts
Secondary and Senior Secondary as well as Vocational Courses
Examinations twice in a year during April-May and October-November
all over the country. In order to make the Examination System more
transparent and fair, the NIOS is in the process of reviewing its
assessment and evaluation system including the performance of the
examination centres.
Your valuable suggestions are solicited for further improvement
